*** BUG NUMBER 1 ***

The first bug of the doors


This bug will help you to find the jetpack (the one which is near the laser turrets above the end of the level)...

The bug works with the two doors, but its utilization is different for each door... If you start the game at the beginning of the level, go to the room with some steroids hidden behind a "blond bimbo" poster (this room is near "innocent?"). Then use the steroids and go across the street and proceed to the edge near the palm tree. The edge leads you near the end of the level : jump ahead and you will reach the exit. Then cross the bridge and go to the corner just above the doors (there's a edge, too). This corner is the bug place, and it lead to the laser turrets (thus turrets are here in single player and cooperative, but not in dukematch !)

Let's talk about the doors (again) : after having taken the "blond bimbo's steroids", use them, and rush at the cinema's doors (it's better to use the left door, but it works with the right door, too). You must crash into the door from an angle of 45° (you can do it in front of the door, from an angle of 90°, by left-strafing to the left corner of the door and jumping and opening the door at the same time). This way, it takes less time, but it's more dangerous ! So, use the "90° method" if you're followed, and take the right door : you'll quickly reach the elevator if the red door is unlocked, and you'll get rid of your opponent. If you collide with the left door, strafe to the left so as to be in the angle of the door (see the demo) and run forward in the same time, then open the door, strafe to the left and jump in the time ! Yippy kay yeah, you arrive in the room above ! So, if you miss the edge behind the palm tree, you can use this bug, which is very useful, too.

*** BUG NUMBER 2 ***

The second bug of the doors


*Left door : if no-one has used this bug in the game, you can collide with the left door, in order to arrive next to the red door, at the first floor (and you won't be hurt by the explosion). To use the bug, go behind the left door (exactly facing the door, 90°). Then open the door, and in the same time, you must walk forward, strafe to the left, and turn a bit to the left... If you do it well, you remain behind the door, but it closes and takes you to the first floor...

*Right door : go behind the door (exactly facing the door). Then strafe to the right when opening the door. So, you'll arrive at the first floor...

*** BUG NUMBER 3 ***

The bug of the jetpack


This one is more tricky than the two before, but we usually use it after having used the doors. It gives you a jetpack, so you are able reach the red room behind the palm tree, and then you can obtain all weapons :-)

To use the bug, go to the corner to the left and above the doors which lead to to the cinema. Then crouch, and while you remain crouched, creep forward, strafe to the left and jump in the same time. So you normally should make little jumps to the left, in the corner of the two walls... and you're eventually taken to the jetpack above ! But be careful : in dukematch, the jetpack might have been stolen by an other player. So wait for a new jetpack before jumping in the air (unless Duke has got wings...).

If you use this bug with steroids, you might be sent to the corridor just before the end of the level. But it's not very useful !

*** BUG NUMBER 4 ***

The bug of the red room / arcade


This bug is very useful because it lets you taking a lot of stuff at the beginning of the game, if you use the bug of the doors and the bug of the jetpack too. And it leads you to the room of the projector.

In the red room, jump on the edge of the window which is the more on the left. You must jump and land crouched on the edge. You can jump and strafe a bit to the left when landing, too. So you should be sent to the arcade room.

*** BUG NUMBER 5 ***

The bug of the arcade / the red room


This bug is the hardest of the level :

Look at the map of the level (TAB). You must go to the square which is under the sector of the red room (see the demo to know where it is)... On the map, this square becomes brown when the light of the ceiling goes through... At this moment you can go to the red room : start up the jetpack when you are on the square and fly up as if you could go through the ceiling... when the light will arrive, you'll find you in the red room !

In the demo, I show you how to do a combo of bugs at the beginning of the level (steroids, then bug of the jet, bug of the red room, and trip to the projector). And then I explain the fourth bug...

*** BUG NUMBER 6 ***

The bug of the fall


If you used a bug to go to the jetpack of the laser turrets, and if the jetpack has already been taken, this bug will help : use the steroids, place yourself from an angle of 45°, and walk near the border. Then jump just before you fall (see the demo)... and turn around the building while you fall (you must hold the "right strafe" and "crouch" keys if you don't want to die when landing). So you should go through a window and land in the red room without dying !!! If you do it well, you can gain a lot of time during a fight...

*** BUG NUMBER 7 ***

The bug of the girl


This bug is quite simple to use, but is dangerous, because you may be "squished" as if you were squizzed by a door.

Firstly, go to the doors which lead to the spiral staircase (under the projector room). Come close to the left door, and aim at the corner (between the border of the door and the wall). Then open the door, walk forward and strafe to the left in the same time... you'll reappear next to the girl who politely asks you to kill her :-) If you steped back when opening the door, the bug will work only if you're under steroids. Otherwise, it works very well !

*** BUG NUMBER 18 ***

The bug of the mirror


You can use this bug with each mirror of the level... just use the steroids and step back while crouching so as to enter the mirror... the view should quake a bit... and then you're invisible !!! Well, it's not very useful, because steroids make noise and your opponent can detect you (but it's rather impressive to hide in a mirror : "fear the Reaper" ;-)) However, you can do it without steroids (that's why you can see this bug in the "dukematch playable bugs" paragraph) !!! You just have to jump at the mirror from an angle of 45° or 135°, and crouch, strafe to the left (or strafe to the right if you use an angle of 135°), and walk forward in the same time... then (you're still walking and strafing) get up !!! You are in the mirror !!! You maybe find it a bit tricky, but the demo will show you that it's easier than you think ! Just a little problem : when you're hidden in the mirror, you can't hurt your opponent, but HE can !!!

The bug of the exit

I think it can be useful in dukematch, because this bug allows you to go through the door which is close by the bridge. So you can get rid of your opponent, if there's a smell of burning...
Use the steroids, then rush towards the door and jump. When you land, crouch and keep going forward... you'll go through the door !

*** BUG NUMBER 11 ***

The bug of the corridor

In fact, this bug is not so hard to use !!! However, it's not very playable, because you'll need to go to a dangerous place, without being able to see an incoming opponent.
Use the jetpack and place yourself precisely on the edge of the breach, as shown in the demo. Then fly up, go forward and strafe to the left in the same time... if you do it well, the screen should quake a bit... keep moving so, and you'll use the bug ! If you want, you can alternately fly up and fly down when you're in the bug's place (it's easier to use the bug if you do so)...

*** BUG NUMBER 8 ***

The bug of the starting air vent


This bug makes you able to move faster, when you fly up in the air vent with the jetpack... Use the jetpack and go forth while you're flying up, so as to be stuck on the vent. You'll quickly reach the roof !

The bug of the other air vent


This bug isn't very useful, because it's just a short cut between the broken wall next to the spiral staircase and the projector room. Moreover, it's rather difficult to use this bug...

See the demo to know where you have to place yourself. Then use steroids, crouch, and step back while you're strafing to the left (this way, you remain stuck on the broken wall), plus you must sharply move to the left and to the right... when you are next to the hole, move so again (but this time, strafe to the right and walk forward)... See the demo, because it's very hard to explain this bug !

*** BUG NUMBER 10 ***

The bug of the projector room


This bug is in fact the opposite way of the previous bug !

Use the steroids and place yourself as shown in the demo... Then rush forward on the right of the little wooden movable, so as to be stuck on the border of the grown wall... and you must look at the second pixel on the right of the wooden movable (see the demo) and strafe to the left... when you're well placed, jump and go forth while left-strafing !

There is another way to do it. It's easier but takes more time. As it's shown in the demo, place yourself on the projetor and aim at the angle between the two walls... now rush and jump there... and you should reappear in the corridor of the ground floor...

*** BUG NUMBER 12 ***

The bug of the curtains


Another hard bug. Moreover, it's useless and very dangerous, because you might be blocked between the curtains... The demo doesn't show the tip very well, but at least you can learn where you have to go... Then use the steroids and collide with the left side, at the low of the curtain... when you land (after having jumped in order to reach the curtains), crouch and strafe to the left with an angle of 45°, then jump (so, you should do a little jump with a strafe)... and you'll go through the first curtain about 10% of the time...

*** BUG NUMBER 13 ***

The bug of the elevator


See the demo to understand where you must place yourself. Then use steroids, and aim at the zone between the left border of the elevator and the yellow strip on the left of the vertice. After having aimed at this point, rush there... and just before you touch it, jump forward : you'll arrive near the elevator, in the arcade room ! This bug almost works every time, but you have to be very well placed, otherwise the bug won't work... That's why I think this bug is unplayable in dukematch...

*** BUG NUMBER 14 ***

The bug of the blue room


It's the little room on the left of the air vent, at the beginning. There is a breackable wall on the side of this room... but the bug only works if the wall isn't broken. Well, when you're in the corridor next to the elevator, use the steroids, stand in front of the door which leads to the blue room, and rush into the right side of the wall which has got a window. While you're running, jump on the little wooden movable from an angle of 135° and strafe to the right in the same time... when you land on the movable, crouch and keep strafing to the right and running forward, plus you have to make little jumps when you're crouched... so you'll reappear in the street ! Note : when you're stuck on the wall, walk a bit forward to go through the wall (see the demo to understand how I did it).

The bug of the first extinguisher


This bug takes place between the two doors which lead to the cinema, after having destroyed the extinguisher. Place yourself as I show you in the demo, and use steroids... then rush into the broken wall (you have to run a bit to the right, but don't strafe. The aim is to collide with the breach the more fastly you can... and you'll reappear at the first floor, next to the red door...

The bug of the second extinguisher


This extinguisher is near the red doorYou must be at the opposite side of the corridor, exacltly facing the extinguisher. Then use steroids and collide with the breach (after having shot at the extinguisher)... just before touching the breach, jump and crouch when you land. So, you'll go through the wall !

The bug before the red room


Go to the edge under the red room (on the border of the edge, see the demo to understand). Place yourself from an angle of 45°, then jump (don't change of direction ; just strafe to the left during the jump)... When you land, keep strafing to the left, crouch, and make several little jumps. As a reult, you'll arrive in the red room without a jetpack ;-)

The bug of the shotgun room


Firstly you need the steroids. Go to the room next to the cash register (you can find a shotgun there), then use steroids while aiming at the screen... when you're on the wooden movable, step back and strafe to the right in the same time (see the demo). Strafing should be rather slow (so you must place yourself from a precise angle). It's hard to explain how you must place yourself. Please, watch the demo !

The bug of the street / red room


Get the steroids, then aim at a precise zone as shown in the demo. You must be rather far from this zone (but you don't have to be as far as me in the demo). Then use steroids and rush into the place you're aiming at... just before touching the wall, jump forward... and you'll reach the red room !

The bug of the steroids


After having found the steroids, go facing the girl poster at the beginning. Rush and collide with this poster (just before touching it, jump, and crouch when you're in the air)... and you go through the poster ... Well, it's useless, but if you're lazy, you don't need to open the pannel ;-)

The bug of the mirrors


You can use this bug without the steroids, but it's harder so. Go in front of a mirror, then use the steroids, run, and jump in the mirror (crouch when you're in the air). It's better to do it from the back (pretty cool, moonwalker ;-)) because you can see the room when you're hidden in the mirror :-)

The bug of the roof


This bug isn't really useful, but is rather interesting... go to the edge, in front of the grating, from an angle of 45° (see the demo). Then walk forward, crouch-jump and strafe to the left in the same time... you'll go through the grating. If you want to return on the roof, use the jetpack as shown in the demo...

*** BUG NUMBER 25 ***

The bug of the holoduke

The trick is very hard to do, and you'll need the steroids... once you have used the them, open the holoduke's locker, then strafe to the right and rush towards the locker from and angle of 45°, as shown in the demo... Then jump so as to land exactly in the locker, and crouch when you land (keep strafing to the right and running forward while you do the trick). You'll maybe arrive in the red room !

The bug of the stairs

It takes place in the hideout of the girl... Aim the right corner, just before you leave the air vent. Then run toward this corner, while you're strafing to the right, and jump when you're about to touch the corner... if you're lucky, you'll arrive in the stairs ;-)

The second bug of the projector room

See the demo : use the steroids and jump on the projector. Then jump forward and strafe to the right (toward the left corner of the wall ahead)... and you'll go through the wall ! This bug is really useless, because the trick is rather hard to do... and jumping from the window is much more simple :-)
