-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Title : Al Zone Date Finished : 9/12/96 (6/1/97) Filename : ALZONE2.MAP Author : Allan Evans Email Address : a.evans@unsw.edu.au Web Site : you got it! Description : Medium sized cityscape deathmatch Additional Credits to : -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Alzone is a medium-size deathmatch level that will run on slow machines. The setting is a number of small buildings in a streetscape, complete with sewer, sniper points, and all of the weapons. This is NOT an all-out blastem dukematch - the heavy weapons are in secret areas in the back of sniper holes and walls with only moderate amounts of ammo (to keep people moving). The level is probably best with more than 2 players, but we play with 2 quite often. Alzone (and Alzone1) has an annoying bug entering and exiting from either end of the sewer. To this day I am not exactly sure why it occurred, but it had something to do with the placement of the passageways (I am *sure* they matched up in both above and in-the-water sectors, but I guess they didn't... sigh). Anyway... *this* is now version 1.2 :-) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Duke 3d Addon Level New level MAP : Yes Sound MAP Only : No Music MAP Only : No Graphic Addon Only : No .DEM Only : No Other : No * Play Information * Map # : 1 Episode and Level # : 1 Single Player : No Cooperative 2-4 Player : No Dukematch 2-8 Player : Yes Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Music : No New Graphics : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Build Time : weeks of small changes Editor(s) used : build Known Bugs : email me if you find any fixed sewer-exiting bug in Alzone and Alzone1 -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY improve this level as long as you include this file intact (with a list of your changes).
