Atomic Switch Author: Emory Rowland E-mail: emory7@mindspring.com Snail: P.O. Box 724591, Atlanta, GA 31139 DESCRIPTION: This program allows you to quickly switch back and forth between Duke Nukem version 1.3 and version 1.5. It comes in handy when you want to join a game on a multiplayer gaming network but don't have the version you need installed in the Duke3d directory. I made it because I grew tired of renaming folders when there was fragging to be done. These are simple batch files that rename the Duke3d folder. None of the Duke3d files or any other files are altered. INSTALLATION: First, install Duke Nukem Atomic Edition and rename the Duke3d directory to Duke3d15. Then, install the original version of Duke Nukem (version 1.3). Run Atomic_S.exe and select to unzip all files into into your root directory (C drive). Create shortcuts to AtomOn.bat and AtomOff.bat and place them on your desktop or Windows 95 start menu. Select the respective icons AtomOn.ico and AtomOff.ico for the shortcuts. UNINSTALLING: Delete the files Atomon.bat, Atomoff.bat, AtomOn.ico, and AtomOff.ico from your root directory. Delete Atomic_S.exe, Atomic_S.txt, and the shortcuts. HOW TO USE: Click the shortcut to AtomOn.bat to turn on the Atomic Edition. Click the shortcut Atomoff.bat to switch back to the original version, 1.3. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 95, Dos, enough disk space for 2 versions of Duke Nukem 3d.
