This level is centered around a hotel implosion, which has been created to maximize the full potential of the BUILD engine. In single player mode, the object is to destroy all the enemies, collect all keycards and flip all switches, then flip the master switch which sets off the implosion. The master switch is protected by two colored walls in front of it, both are removed by flipping two switches which have been placed at strategic places within the level. In single player mode, save your game immediately before flipping the master switch. This is so you can view the implosion more than once, and see it from the many different camera angles provided through the security cameras, some of which are placed INSIDE the building. Once the building has come down the Nukebuttom will become available. In Dukematch, the object is slightly different. If players are inside the hotel when the implosion begins, they will be crushed if they are on floors 1, 3(secret), or 4. I ran into problems with the crushing ceilings, this is why not all of them could be made to crush in. Also, in multiplayer mode, players will always start somewhere besides the hotel, this is to avoid starting in a place that may no longer exist. There are many, many secrets available for both single player and multiplayer mode, including secret floors. There is one secret floor in each building except for the sewage company building. In addition, there are also two "super secrets", which if found, will give players a big advantage over their opponents in Dukematch. BUGS There are at least two unavoidable bugs in this level, though neither of them have any significant effect on gameplay. 1. If players are on top of the hotel when it goes down (Dukematch), they may become suspended in midair if they remain perfectly still. If they move around, however, they will go down with the building. 2. As previously mentioned, not all hotel ceilings crush in. This may leave players stranded with no way out except suicide. Pipebombs will be provided in all staircases for this purpose. 3. When on the eighth floor, it is possible a player may end up outside the hotel for no reason. This is rare, though.
