================================================================ Title : "DANZIG LEVEL 08" Filename : DANZIG08.MAP Author : Chookman, B. Vannatta Email Address : jscott@mail.wwdc.com Misc. Author Info : This is my eighth DOOM2 conversion and I stayed with the classic DANZIG SERIES. My previous seven were DANZIG01.MAP, DANZIG09.MAP, DANZIG02.MAP, DANZIG06.MAP, DANZIG03.MAP, DANZIG04.MAP and DANZIG07.MAP. I only have 1 more to go until I have converted the nine main levels in the series. The fifth level will be the toughest to convert because I plan to add a jetpack to it. That means I need to eliminate the extra buildings or block them off. I may decide not to convert it. Essentially, I have converted the floor plan over and installed all sprites, tags, textures etc. along with a few other goodies that DUKE can use for mayhem. Description : DANZIG08 is a very fast map that will roll up the frag count. I took a lot of time on this one to get the textures right and get it looking visually appealing to the eye. (As I always do with the levels). It plays much like the original except for the trip mines that can seal off some of the level at times by a wiley opponent. Additional Credits to : 3dRealms, B. Vannatta (The best deathmatch level maker for Doom I've ever seen. Check out his HARM1.MAP for DUKE!) Thanks to G. Burgess and D. Dykeman for help playtesting on the LAN. ================================================================ * Play Information * Episode and Level # : User MAP.
