Author Info : Many a bloodshot eye to be found whilst construction. Build PC : P100 (Hope it runs ok on 486 66's) Build time : Unknown due to lose of sanity, many many hours. I could have spent more time shading... but. Build engine took some time to learn, still there are many unknowns and questions. Description : Map designed solely for DukeMatch (2-8 players) "Please read this text to get the best out of ISLE." Many an hour testing, and plays well 486 66 verses P100, may get slower when jetpacking around but the view is worth it. Trips placed that project long beams seem to slow things down alot. Scene, an island with an inner island surrounded by a moat full of sharks and mines. A harbour with a boat & dingy, The main turret in the middle has two entry points, both are initially LOCKED. Entry to the main underground complex can be done by having a swim, look for grates and the like, follow these into the main complex. The complex is I would guess 150 feet below ground so dive down (hold your breath) alot in some places. The main complex has a delivery bay, first aid, lab, security, ordinance and weapon supply rooms/areas, the security room is where the door locks and force field power can be locked/unlocked & on/off. The two blue doors are the twin interlinked lifts which go up to the main turret, watch out for the two hidden'ish mid-lift hidy-holes. Doors I have deliberatly left NON-autoclosing this helps local people. Other objects are a dingy & boat in the habour plus the access point for the multi-player rest room, this is where players can go when they need a quite rest, killing people in the rest room is deemed to be not-the-thing-to-do, if a call of nature/ coffee break or a door needs answering, this is the place to go where you SHOULDN'T be killed. Position of rest room, south-east corner of the outside you should find a small square hole marked R & R, jump in, you are beamed to a boat far out to sea. Go inside, to get back just step on to the yellow and black square, don't jump over-board (Like my friend ). Take care of accidental death whilst beaming. --------------- Item list: For those who don't want to know where things are... don't read this. Outside - Much pistol ammo, eight shotguns + low ammo, two hidden machine guns, 4 crates of pipes, a few small medi kits and a holoduke. Dingy - Shield. Boat cabin - Aqua-gear, jetpack, Shield & sixpacks. Boat hold - Aqua-gear, small rocket launcher + ammo, trips & pipes. Mid-turret - Pipe bombs & holoduke. Underground Access via twin lifts or any grates/windows that can be found outside. Security room - All door locks/force field power plus some trips. Ammo room - Hummmm lots... Weapom room - RPG, mini-launcher, shrinkray, shields, Aqua-gear, heatsense, trips, pipes & machine gun. Atomic health and other goodies I will leave you to find. Feedback : Yes please, this is the only way to improve map building skills It is very difficult to build a interesting/playable map which you can play over and over again, I am not saying this is one of them either.
