====================================================================== Title : The Moonbase Project Filename : Moonbas2.map Author : Bill Washburn E-mail : wr15@earthlink.net Other Levels : Laboratory (unfinished, not yet published!) Description : As Duke Nukem is FINALLY about to sit down for a nice day of total TV, the phone rings. He thought to himself about the crap he had been going through lately, like the time a few years back when he had beaten the aliens' brains out in L. A. AND in space and decided not to answer it. But it just didn't stop ringing! "AHHHH! THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME!" He picked up the phone. "HELLO!?!" "DUKE! YOU'RE GONNA NEED TO GO TO THE MOON---AGAIN!" "WHY IN THE---" "The aliens have struck AGAIN! NOW HURRY! THERE'S NO TIME TO LOSE! WE'RE COUNTING ON YOU!" Duke slammed the phone down. "Dammit! Well, at least it'll feel good slammin' chunks of lead into those pieces of crap!" LET'S ROCK!!!!! Additional Credits To : Jonah Bishop for his MapFaqs and webpages and Rómulo Cabeza for playtesting this level. ====================================================================== * Play Information * Episode and Level # : E1L1 Single Player : Yes DukeMatch 2-8 Player : Not yet Cooperative 2-8 Player : Not yet Difficulty Settings : Not implemented Plutonium Pak Required : No New Art : No New Music : No New Sound Effects : No New .CON Files : No Demos Replaced : No ===================================================================== * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Level Editor(s) Used : BUILD Art Editor(s) Used : none Construction Time : about two weeks Known Bugs : There's some blink in the shoot leading down to the lava pit. * Where to get this MAP file * File location : http://www.dukeworld.com ===================================================================== *Important Information* Installation : Just put it in your Duke directory! After that either run SETUP to access the map or go to MS-DOS PROMPT and type cd\(your duke directory) then press enter. Then type Duke3d -map moonbas2 Important Notes : Watch out for the "SURPRISE" at the end! Also: Can YOU raise the lava bridge? I have to say I went a bit crazy on the weapons. This level has a pretty good design for dm, possibly even more than single, so I will be updating it later as dmoonbase. ======================================================================
