====================================================================== Title : Morts^ipo (Death Ship) Filename : mortsipo.map Author : Jeff Lee E-mail : shipbrk@gate.net Web Page : http://www.gate.net/~shipbrk/ Description : Guess it was a lucky break that you picked up a case of the runs during shore leave on Altibur; when the alien hijackers boarded, you were in the head with the door locked. With the rest of the crew dead, and the ship en route to the slimeballs' homeworld, the only thing you can do now is to get down to Engineering and hit the auto-destruct in order to prevent their scientists from getting their slimy paws on Terran stardrive technology... Additional Credits To : The helpful people on alt.games.duke3d.editing who were kind enough to answer a newbie's questions. ====================================================================== * Play Information * Episode and Level # : E1L8 (User Map) Single Player : Yes (best at skill level 3 or 4) DukeMatch 2-8 Player : Yes (best with 5 or more players) Cooperative 2-8 Player : No Difficulty Settings : Yes Plutonium Pak Required : No New Art : No New Music : No New Sound Effects : No New .CON Files : No Demos Replaced : No ===================================================================== * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Level Editor(s) Used : BUILD Art Editor(s) Used : None Construction Time : 2-3 weeks, but about the same amount of time was further spent on testing and tweaking. As an homage to the British SF comedy _Red Dwarf_, all signage is in Esperanto (as is the map name). Because this is my first "real" map (ie, the first one I felt wouldn't embarrass me if I posted it), I would appreciate any feedback (whether positive or negative) you might be willing to provide, so that I might be able to improve my maps in the future. Thanks! ======================================================================
