====================================================================== Title : The Nemedian Project Author : Donaya L. Jackson E-mail : wildali@hotmail.com Web Page : none; N/A Description : Not much of a level; this is obviously my first MAP and it's full of horrific bugs. The story is inane at best. Duke gets warped to some space station on a fictional planet that I created, Nemedia, and is forced to destroy the fiends which dwell there, and also to keep the aliens from making the striptease show, "Exotica Tonight", a complete failure. No one knows who is responsible for teleporting Duke Nukem to Nemedia, and no one never will...but I like to think that it was fate. Prepare to sit back in that old, stinky reclining chair with a six-pack, pick up your computer gamepad, and control some husky white guy with an awesome set of biceps, a nasty-ass attitude, and BIG FREAKING GUNS, yell snazzy quirps like "Shake it baby," and "You wanna DANCE?" till your wife ovulates, and of course, do a HELL of a FUCKIN' BASTARD-BITCH lot of cursing! *smiles* There now...I think that clears up things pretty nicely between the two of us, eh? Additional Credits to : Me, myself and I, Jeremy Frazier, (thanx for the inspiration, dude!) Chris Scott, Mike Woods, Jeremy Lee, Mrs. Gloria Sturdivant and especially LeVodge Spotson and Cherelle Porche, two guys who never let off me...don't bother saying hi. ====================================================================== * Play Information * Episode and Level # : Not implemented...sorry! ^_~ Single Player : Of course, silly! DukeMatch Level : If you're a sucidial maniac, then this is DukeMatch heaven. Difficulty Settings : If you feel that "Shit Ass Hard" is a difficulty, then yeah. Obviously you're limited to using only the Shit Ass Hard setting though. * Construction * Base : Constructed from the ground up, baby! Editor(s) used : The Build editor, and nothing more. Known Bugs : In the room with the cactus blocking off all four doors, be wary of how you walk down that hallway! You just might get smashed (don't worry, you'll see what I mean when you get there)! Plus, as an added bonus, you get glitchy wall sprites, disappearing sectors, and some unaligned textures. Ironically, these things don't occur NEARLY as often as you're insinuating...it's not constant, if THAT'S what you're thinking. Just maybe every 2-4 minutes, something'll freak out, but it's nothing major though. * Time to Build * With tweaking, debugging, playtesting and trap-setting all taken into consideration, this MAP probably took me around the timeframe of 56 hours to build. * Where to get this MAP file * FTP sites: I assume that if you found this thing, you know where to pick it up. BBS numbers: none, I'm assuming... * Last Words * I would like to thank the Academy...errm...heh heh, whoopsie. Wrong page. Seriously however, I would really like to say that I hope you will enjoy this effort. There's a sequel in the works as of now, and of course, I'm planning to make Nemedia bigger, bolder, and WAY more kick-ass the second time around. Nifty, huh? I know. Have fun with this thing; I sure had a helluva time making it. 1998 DJ. ===========================================================================
