====================================================================== Title : The Nemedian Project 2 Author : Donaya L. Jackson E-mail : wildali@hotmail.com Web Page : none; N/A Description : My second MAP so far. It's a tad bit better than the first; try playing both levels consecutively, and see for yourself. After repelling the forces, and allowing "Exotica Tonight" to launch successfully, Duke Nukem was shocked to see the second sector of the Nemedian spacestation overrun by aliens. Freaky, determined aliens are really trying their hardest to thwart a sorority pool-party. It's being held for several different colleges in the station's entertainment quarters. As the hero, you must stop the alien shenanigans, and restore peace to the "Pool Party". There is rumored to be a secret storage facility deep within the subway's multi-faceted passageways. Search this place out, and use the utilities located within to help you destroy each and every one of those demonic aliens who are trying to destroy Nemedia's peace and solitude! You must not fail, Duke Nukem. You are Nemedia's only hope. Don't just ask what your "Pool Party" can do for you...ask what you can do for your "Pool Party". The answer: Save it! Those girls are freaky-deaky. You'll want to get a hold of their panties, for sure! GOOD LUCK, DUKE NUKEM!! Additional Credits to : Me, myself and I, Jeremy Frazier, (thanx for the inspiration, dude!) Chris Scott, Mike Woods, Jeremy Lee, Mrs. Gloria Sturdivant and especially LeVodge Spotson and Cherelle Porche. Also, many thanx go out to NukeDukem and Chibi-Dawn, y'know, just for being there. ====================================================================== * Play Information * Episode and Level # : Not implemented...sorry! ^_~ Single Player : Of course, silly! DukeMatch Level : If you're a sucidial maniac, then this is DukeMatch heaven. Difficulty Settings : If you feel that "Shit Ass Hard" is a difficulty, then yeah. Obviously you're limited to using only the Shit Ass Hard setting though. * Construction * Base : Constructed from the ground up, baby! Editor(s) used : The Build editor, and nothing more. Known Bugs : As of the time of this printing, I saw no bugs. Everything works according to my original plans, and I am fully satisfied with the end results of this sequel. Though, in the subway, the cars will sometimes go straight through the edges of the slanted tunnel walls...but that's all I saw. A VERY minor glitch. Yeah, and the sidewalk will disappear in small places, if viewed from a certain angle. Not too intrusive. Just another minor glitch of sector-overlapping. Not a bug that ruins the control, or anything. * Time to Build * With the tweaking, debugging, playtesting and trap-setting all taken into full consideration, this MAP probably took me around the timeframe of 84 hours to build. * Where to get this MAP file * FTP sites: I assume that if you found this thing, you know where to pick it up. BBS numbers: none, I'm assuming... * Last Words * I would like to thank the Academy...errm...heh heh, whoopsie. Wrong page. Seriously however, I would really like to say that I hope you will enjoy this effort. There's yet ANOTHER sequel in the works as of now, and of course, I'm planning to make Nemedia bigger, bolder, and WAY more kick-ass the third time around. Nifty, huh? I know. Have fun with this thing; I sure had a helluva time making it. P.S: I will began work on Nemedia 3 real soon. I'm planning to conclude the story line (yes, there IS a story going on here) and after that's done, I will compile the entire "Nemedian Trilogy", and release it in an enhanced, expanded version. I will call this "The Nemedian Trilogy: Special Edition", and all 3 levels will be REVISED, with new enemies, textures, and extensive, expanded level designs. I will also add an interview section in the usual template .TXT file, where I will explain how I did what I did, and just rant on about how I enjoyed creating these levels for the whole lot of you to enjoy. So look forward to seeing these events take place soon. Sayonara for now, my loyal constituents. 1998 DJ. ===========================================================================
