If there ain't a number at the end of the filename, It's for Plutonium Pak/Atomic Pak. -SORRY..:) To Run this Level : Type DUKE3D -MAP NITERIDE.MAP or Load the level from the SETUP Description : SINGLE PLAYER OR DUKEMATCH THAT TAKES PLACE ON CARS! THREE CARS, ONE FLYING SHIP WITH A TRANSPORTER, A LITTLE BIT OF ROAD IN BETWEEN, AND A COUPLE OF NICE SURPRISES. "Silent-Wolf" for rerouting my idea from a train to this. * Jean Marc LABAL. I used his map BOAT.MAP to figure out how to get the road to kill you, if you fell in the street. *The author of a level with big-rig trucks--I copied his way of making windshields and car windows. *The author of a level with a cop car (Park.map)??? IT was something with a park in it. I figured out how the ceiling of the car was made (a flattened sprite). * "GONZO" (John Gonzales) for telling me to modify the old carchase map to this version. He also suggested to me to make one of the cars a 2-way train, but the conveyor belt sector (the street) would snatch the LOCATOR SPRITES. The car would not move. *YOU, the reader and the player. *Anyone else that feels offended that I did not include their name in here. STORY: OKAY, Here is what you've been waiting for as you have been frantically downloading file after file from ELITEGAMES, or the nearest Duke3d archive. Dukey-Boy just finished pillaging the motel, where Machine Gun Willie (A BLACK LIZARD) and MR. Blop (A Houston Crime Boss) were literally mowed down by a white male, measuring 5'11", blue eyes, blond hair, blue clothes(YES, YOU DID IT). Anyway, when Duke was in the ghetto doing his last mission, he was carjacked.(REMEMBER in MOB_BUST.MAP?) The poor Pontiac Fiero, was missing the tires, rims, spoiler, radio, fuzzy dice, and was left with an empty tank. Duke, being fairly pissed, opened a can of whoop-ass on the little alien that totaled the car. In the process, Duke repeatedly raped the alien with his foot, and took off with a brand new WAMPLET NAVIGATOR space ship. No more than a block, did young Duke travel, when some farm-boy aliens in a beat up pick-up truck, and that little alien that you sexually assaulted, in you repainted Fiero. Sidebar: Don't ask me how the alien fixed the Fiero so fast. Anyhow, there's a gold Fiero and a crappy truck with yokels and hired immigrants in the back. A missle comes piercing into the rear of "your" brand new ship. You go to the back to inspect the damage.....It's from another car!! Where did that Blue Porsche come from?? It's gotta be Machine Gun Willie's ride, but you killed him, in MOB_BUST with MR. Blop, OR DID YOU???? You peer out to the LEFT at the Porsche. YES! It's Machine Gun Willie and his brother being chauffured by some illegal immigrants. You look back to you supply shelves and know that you better use your stock wisely. YOUR MISSION: 1. DESTROY MACHINE GUN WILLIE, ONCE AND FOR ALL!!! 2. Kill the Fiero thief. 3. Kill those slack-jawed yokels and their hired hands. 4. Don't get raped by those alien Homosexual murderers!!! Other Levels by me : ROSWELL, PIRATES, AHOOD, WESTTOWN, IGLOO, and MOB_BUST. I have several others, but I think the frame rates suck unless you have a Pentium, so I chose not to upload them. One is a deer hunting level with a forest made of sectors. I've made two or three houselevels, and I made a replica of OfficeMax. ============================================================================== * Play Information * Episode and Level # : It's a User Map!!!! Single Player : YES!!!!! Just jump onto the street and play the level over and over again to watch the aliens get killed, since there is no EXIT BUTTON. Cooperative Play : Yes! DukeMatch Level : Yes! ALOT Faster if you play without Monsters. Difficulty Settings : VERY....???......:) FrameRate : 30 to 80, Mostly around 40 though on my Pentium 120 * Construction * Time : 1 day (about 6 hours) Bout 3 Hours for Basic construction, texture, and sprite placement. 2 hours for TESTING. 1 or 2 hours for making this text file, while eating. Base : Actually, I wanted to make a train like Level 3 in BLOOD. Instead, I changed my idea, when I was helping a person on the net about making a level about a convoy. I based my level off of his idea and the train level in BLOOD. I don't know if Silent-Wolf's CONVOY level is out yet, but check his site out to find if it's ready at: http://www.dancris.com/~nitehawk For anyone who does not understand the way my map works, It is a conveyor belt. The cars don't move. They are not subways or oneway trains. Look in BUILD or contact me for help on making this type of level. SECRETS AND TIPS SECTION ============================================================================== You will now be REWARDED for reading my text file. You probably skipped most of it anyway. This Tips Section will be divided into three parts: 1 Single Play Strategy. 2 DukeMatch. 3 Secrets and Special Features. 4.COOP. 1. SECRETS AND SPECIAL FEATURES You can BEAM down from Duke's ship,by running to the front portion of the ship inside. NOTE: It's not a TELEPORTER. IT'S an unblockable sprite that you can go in and out. U can play the radio in the Fiero (Gold car) just like in MOB_BUST.MAP. 2. SINGLE PLAY STRATEGY STEP 1: Blast the crap out of the aliens, and watch them meet their Roadkill death. STEP 2: Blow up the glass on all the cars. STEP 3: Kill yourself. STEP 4: Repeat STEP 1. 3. DUKEMATCH STRATEGIES Rule #1: Starting in the ship is a HUGE advantage....:) Rule #2: Buy a teddy-bear hamster. Rule #3: Suicides are always an option. Rule #4: Use a bullet weapon for people who hop cars. Rule #5: Use the missle weapons for those who "listen to the radio." (Campers in a car/truck) 4.COOP PLAY 1. There ain't much room to kill with a buddy. 2. And the enemies die with in the first minute, unless you camp. 3. So treat it like a single player game, have a buddy beam down to fight, while you snipe, or hell, Just both or all of ya'll beam down and let all hell break loose.
