Duke 3D Patch ======================================= Title :The Taxicab Launcher Filename :Taxi-gun.zip; Taxibang.voc; Vroom.voc; User.con; Taxi-gun.txt; Tiles010.art Author :Bill McGuire Email Address :mcgmed@gil.com.au Misc. Author Info. :Age: 17 years. Height: Two inches. Maximum shouting capacity: 283 decibels of ear-shattering hell. Favorite pastime: Standing on my head and throwing answering machines at supermarkets while shouting out the name of Hungary's most obscure 4-year-old. That's when I'm not out on the town with my private army trying to instigate a revolution which will end with my plans of world domination coming true. If you want to become part of my private army, send a copy of your last parking ticket to my Uncle Edgar's mansion in Quebec, ensuring that you tell him exactly how many armpit hairs are in your possession before you do so. Description :This is a somewhat unusual Duke Nukem 3d weapons patch which converts the RPG into a potent, deadly new weapon - a taxicab launcher. Yes, instead of firing rockets at your opponent, you can shoot minimised cabs at him. They're far more difficult to dodge than the normal rockets, so they add an exciting new edge to your Dukematch. This patch is ideal to be used with my level "Fairlane". Additional Credits to :The film "The Blues Brothers" (a masterpiece of modern cinema) for the Vroom.voc sound effect, and the miasma of rattling machinery that is my twisted psyche for allowing me to come up with such a strange idea. =========================================================================== * Construction * Base :Entirely original construction, even the artwork. But I gotta admit, the sound effects were not original. Editor (s) used :Sound Blaster 16 WaveStudio to edit the sound FX, and Deluxe Paint to draw the artwork. Time Taken :One warm summer's day downtown. Additional Files :Bla bla bla, look at the top. * Where to get this file * I really don't know, I haven't uploaded it yet. Why the hell do they put this "Where to get this file" section in, anyway? I mean, it's completely and utterly pointless. If the person's got the file in the first place, they know where to get it, don't they? And anyway, who ever reads these add-on text files, apart from me and maybe some other guy several dimensions away? Why is it so? WHY?
