=============================================================================== Title : Entryway (DOOM2 map01) Filename : map01.bsp Version : 1.1 Author : Pablo A. Caceres Email Address : caceresj@sprint.ca Time : about 1 month total Other levels by author : This was my first Quake2 level. I'm currently working on a DOOM1 E1M1 conversion. Description : This is a near 100% conversion of DOOM2's map01. It has all of the original textures, and the brushes are accurately scaled. Bots : The Eraser bot works great with this level Additional Credits to : id Software, of course, and the creators of BSP, D2Q/D2QTEX, and the other utilities I used in converting this map =============================================================================== * Play Information * Game : Quake 2 Single Player : Yes Cooperative : Yes Deathmatch : Yes (gets too crowded with more than 4 players) Difficulty Settings : Yes New Sounds : No New Graphics : Original DOOM2 textures + sky CD Track Used : Track 9 Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : DOOM II MAP01 Build Computer : Pentium MMX 233mHz, 160MB RAM Build Time : GDDQBSP3: 25 seconds GDDQVIS3: 111.0 seconds ARGHRAD -extra -bounce 40: 1610 seconds Editor(s) used : D2Q V1.0 D2QTEX V1.0 BSP V0.93 Wally GDDQBSP3 V1.07 GDDQVIS3 V1.02 ArghRAD V2.01 QPed V2.11 Known Bugs : The message "Com_sprintf: overflow of 35 in 32" shows up in the console during loading, but there is no need to worry, as the level works fine. Run Quake2, bring up the console, and type "map map01" (without the quotes) * Copyrights/Permissions * You may distribute this level for free over any electronical / network environment, as long as it is free, and this text file is included and the files are not modified in any way.
