================================================================ Title : The Abandoned Base Date : 02/18/99 Filename : q1dm3.bsp Author : Joe Wojciechowski Email Address : generaln@adelphia.net " if that one fails send to general_nuke@yahoo.com " Description : The second version of dm3 that i have done. this one improves upon : 1st by fixing some clip errors and giving the map a monir face lift : to make it feel more like the q1 dm3. I also plan to do a generations : version of this map as well :) Additional Credits to : ID software, John Romero the man! Serberus for helping me with tons of shit : and to Bobafett for his inspiration! Yeah Right! ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : No. Deathmatch : Yes, 4-8 players. (6 people is best) Difficulty Settings : No. * Construction * Base : Conversion. some Q2 textures and some quake textures! Editor(s) used : Worldcraft Known Bugs : None that i found! Report any if you find some :) Build Time : Few days. compiled it about 10 times to get the lighting right Textures used : Some quake2 textures and also some quake1 textures. " see other info" Compile machine : Pentium II 450 with 160 megs QBSP Time : 14 seconds QVIS Time (-level 4) : 57 seconds QRAD Time (-extra) : 577 seconds Brushes : 724 Faces : 4277 Entities : 270 Solid Entities : 3 * Other Info * 1) This level is in a pak file instead of just sending the textures with it in a folder. You know the deal rename the pak to whatever number is next and throw it in the baseq2 dir. Then type map q1dm3 in the console. I also chose to use a special made sky env cause i think the normal ones with quake2 suck :) If anybody has any trouble at all with this map or has comments etc. please feel free to email me. 2) I also plan to do a few of the other quake maps!
