These "conveniences" quickly became necessities and Ares was quickly able to set up mines, factories and refineries throughout the world. Soon forests where wild dinosaurs once roamed became a graveyard of stumps. Mountains where pterosaurs would roost were worn down to hollow mounds by the corporation's efficient burrowing machines. rivers where packs of crocodiles would hunt the unwary are now toxic and deadlier than the predators who once lived there. They have clear-cut and strip-mined your world into a shadow of what it was. They have taken the planet's resources to create weapons and exported them to other worlds. Their dams still stop up the rivers and their machines continue to harvest trees where great forests once stood. Every acre of arable land is used to grow weeds for the production of biochemicals. The intelligent beings of your world can not fight against the metal minions of the Ares corporation. They have even become dependent on them. But a few have come to believe that it is better to die free as free beings on a dead world than to live as slaves on a world in this kind of un-death. These liberators - labelled terrorists by the Ares corporation - have learned how to seize control of biomechanical avatars used by the corporation for hazardous tasks and arm them with the latest high-tech weaponry. If they can cause enough damage to the corporation's operations, making them unprofitable, maybe the corporation will abandon this world. But the Ares corporation has a tough policy about terrorism... Credits ------- Everything in this game was used with the creators' permission.
