Hey guys, this is the directory you put your sound files into. Actually I have recieved messages from you both, I did you for the E-mail and him for the ICQ, so I tried not to leave either out.. I wanted to make sure I would be getting a respose from one of you guys but now that I have and you seem interested, I was thinking either you sending me the files (a little big for my tastes), or just uploading directly into the file servers, which I find more hospitable. Guidelines: Since you have actual files that I have seen and tested, I feel you can be trusted when it comes to no viruses being sent to me or our servers. As usual if you are found to be sending anything like that or anything else not related to your sounds or sound site, your files will mysteriously disspear and our wrath will be limitless. Otherwise all will go smoothly, have fun with it. Oh yes, don't tell anyone else the ftp address, please, not even your bestest best friend. Options: I can actually mirror your site that you already have, being in the form of www.planethalflife.com/studiosound/yoursite, but that is up to you, just ask and I will give you the info to do that. Or you can just link to your files on our faster, nearly infinitely mirrored servers and post them there, as long as you update me whenever you update your sound files. A note: whenever you update your files, tell me that you did so that I can make it known as fast as possible.I will show you how to upload your files into the PHL directory. This is for the files, not the website, this ftp will only mirror your sound files. ftp://studiosound:Dsnow1@ftp.planetquake.com/cdrom/studiosound/hlsoundpak/ put that into your browser and hit enter; drag your sound files into the browser window. Or you can use an ftp program, the ftp is ftp.planethalflife.com/ pass is Dsnow1; then go to the folder cdrom/studiosound/hlsoundpak/. You can then test it by putting http://www.planetquake.com/dl/dl.asp?studiosound/hlsoundpak/YOURFILEHERE in your browser, changing YOURFILEHERE here for your file name. If a page that starts the download doesn't show up automatically, give it about a minute to mirror the file around to the servers.
