[ENEMY PROFILE] [LEVELS PROFILE] [WEAPONS PROFILE] [STRATEGY GUIDE]
The enemy you will face is the Predator. Although they may look similar, there are actually 5 different kinds of Predators in the game. Each has different weaknesses and strongpoints. The idea is that you don't know which one is which untill the Predator attacks.
The following is a description of each of the Predators you will encounter:
***
The Controller:
The Controller sits behind a bulletproof window. He controls vital ellements of the level you are in. You cannot eliminate him, but beware, as he can alert other Predators of your presence. If you see him, raise your awareness and proceed cautiously.
The Cadet:
The cadet is a young Predator that is still inexperienced and does not pose too much of a threat. He usually attacks slowly and does so standing up. He will use his shoulder cannon most of the time and may occasionnally fire a plasma torpedo. He can also kneel from time to time. If you see him, engage him with attack pattern alpha*, or beta* if you are less experienced.
*Battle patterns are described in the strategy guide.
The Croucher
The croucher is a veteran Predator, well skilled in the art of the hunt. He crouches allot and can avoid your hits more easily. He will use his shoulder cannon, his wrist plasma accelerator and his torpedo launcher. He likes to use his particle accelerator too. This predator is tougher than the cadet, and will surely cause damage to any unexperienced marine. When encountered, attack pattern beta is highly recommended.
The Warrior
The warrior is a very experienced and skillfull Predator. He can crouch, kneel, jump and moves faster than the others. He is armed with a supercharged wrist plasma accelerator and the firedragon. To confront him face on is pure suicide. Only attack pattern gamma is suited to dispatch of this enemy.
The Wise One
The wise one is the head commander of the assault on our planet. He has been known to be very tought and to be armed with the best weapons available to the Predators. No attack pattern fits this one properly, and you will have to trust your guts on this one.
