================================================================ Title : JAZZ JACKRABBIT for DOOM 1+2 Author : Christian Laggner E-mail Address : e9225408@stud1.tuwien.ac.at Description : This wounderful graphic patch will replace the Shotgun-Guy with Jazz Jackrabbit (and the Health-Bonus with carrots...)!!! Works with DOOM and DOOM ][! Credits to : The guys at Epic who created Jazz ================================================================ ...So after Jazz finally rescued his beloved Eva, what do you think they did? They're young....... They're in love....... They're rabbits! But did they really have to - er - "multiply" that much?!? Those little guys are everywhere! And by the way: who gave them all those deadly LFG-2000s? Someone has to stop this madness! ("Cut it out kid, somebody might get hoit... probably me!...") Installation: Just unzip the files into your DOOM or DOOM ][ directory and type "JAZZ". This will create the new file JAZZ.WAD which you can start with the same program or the -file option. You need to install it twice (i.e. in both directories) if you want to use it with both DOOM-Versions. NOTE: The Installation won't modify your original DOOM-files, so the worst thing that can happen is that the new WAD just won't work (which, by the way really IS a little catastrophe...). ================================================================ * Play Information * DOOM Version :I & ][ Episode and Level # : N/A Single Player : N/A Cooperative 2-4 Player : N/A Deathmatch 2-4 Player : N/A Difficulty Settings : N/A New Sounds : No New Graphics : YES!!! Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : The Shareware-Version of Jazz Jackrabbit Only few of the original graphics were modified (mainly those where Jazz looks forwards or backwards). Build Time : Done in 4 days, but I didn't count the hours Editors used : DMGRAPH, DeuSF, NWT, various Screen-Grabbers and Graphic-Programs Known Bugs : Easywad won't recognise the WAD-type, but I think we can live with that... Sounds : Although I could, I didn't include the sounds from the original game because most of them are used for both kinds of soldiers or for more than one action. If, for example, our marine would cry "YUMM!" when eating a carrot, he would do the same when picking up shotgun-shells, thus giving a whole new meaning to the word "eat lead"... * Copyright / Permissions * You may distribute these files freely on any media as long as you don't ask money for it and enclude all the files. THIS IS FREEWARE! If you want to reuse some part, give credit to the original author(s). Of course you know that Jazz Jackrabbit is a trademark of EPIC MegaGames.
