=========================================================================== Advanced engine needed : ZDoom Primary purpose : Deathmatch =========================================================================== Title : Morbid DM 01 : Edgecrusher (v1.01) Filename : nbmbdm01.wad Release date : 04/12/99 Author : Nick Baker, aka NiGHTMARE Email Address : nick@frad.org Other Files By Author : Surge & Surge 2 (with others), loads of other stuff. Misc. Author Info : One of the English Doom frads. I've done work for a lot of projects, see my homepage at http://haunt.8m.com/ Description : The first in the "Morbid DM" series, featuring all new textures. This level is heavily inspired by Q2DM1: The Edge, and is rather frantic, so anything more than four players is not recommended. There's only four starts anyway. It's not "mega detailed" like some DM level designers do, but it does look pretty nice IMHO. Additional Credits to : * ID Software for Quake 2, which heavily inspired this level (and also provided some sounds). * Sean Johnson, some of my textures are based on his. * The authors of Biowar for the bright green nukage idea. * Derek MacDonald for playtesting. What's new? : v1.01 adds MOD music, coloured lighting, makes the nukage warp, improves the start pads, and actually displays the titlepatch on the intermission screen. =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : 1 Sounds : Yes (a couple of ambient sounds) Music : Yes Graphics : Yes (several new textures) Dehacked/BEX Patch : No Demos : No * Play Information * Game : DOOM2 Map # : MAP01 Single Player : Player starts only Cooperative 2-4 Player : No Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Designed for (4 starts) Difficulty Settings : Not implemented * Construction * Base : New from scratch Build Time : Around 30 hours editing and testing Editor(s) used : DeeP '97 v9.30 Known Bugs : None.
