FTP admins: Place these files in the /pub/doom2/themes/TeamTNT directory ......................................................................... PLUTDEMO.ZIP This file contains 32 demos, one on each level of The Plutonia Experiment, part of Final Doom. They are named PLUTxxUV.LMP where xx is the level number. Plutonia Level Authors : Dario and Milo Casali Email Address : dario@casali.demon.co.uk WWW : http://www.linefeed.com/dario/home.html Description : Each demo starts fresh on the level, so it follows that I only get a pistol and whatever weponary there is available in that level. Each level is played on Skill 4 and fully completed. I use some secrets only because I don't have the firepower I would've had, had I not started fresh. I don't reveal ALL the secrets, nor do I kill ALL the monsters, I tried to keep the demos as short and sweet as possible. ================================================================ * Viewing Information * Game : Final Doom only Level # : Maps 01-32 Final Doom: Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes Difficulty Settings : Yes New Sounds : No New Graphics : Yes Demos Replaced : Yes - there are some even though WIN95 doesn't show them. Load up Plutonia.wad with Doom2 version 1.9 and you see the cool demos. You also see the endoom screen, which happens to be the game's only reference to the two people who created the entire episode. Bugs : I have seen some unaligned textures (MAP31 a secret door is unaligned in the marble room). These must have happened at ID when they re-compiled the wad for Doom95, not when being built! Myth Disspelling : Some losers think that Milo and I didn't make all of The Plutonia Experiment on our own, and that Shawn Green had a hand in some levels. This is entirely false so the people who think they know better would like to Email me and discuss it please do, but don't spread crap to others, you only piss off the people who made the thing. Every level, every graphic and texture was made by the two of us, with no intervention by anyone else. Them's the fax. The Plutonia Experiment is not "too hard". Too hard for what anyway? B4 thinking this, there is a handy thing that allows you to select the skill level you want to play on before you get into the game. Try lowering this number and playing again, you will find it's easier than it was before! A Final word of thanks goes to : ID for taking our names out of the credit screen (but they did publish it so what the heck) * Recording info * Time taken : About 2 Hours overall * Copyright / Permissions * Do what ever you want with these recordings once they are on your computer, but I recommend you watch them in Final Doom, otherwise you're in for a really boring time.
