================================================================= Title : The Dark Dungeon Filename : dung7b.bsp Author : Arjan van Oeveren, aka Mister Metal Email Address : 0voeveren01@flnet.nl Homepage : http://www.flnet.nl/~0voeveren01 Description : This is my second map. I was inspired by DM2. which I really like with a few reapers. So it's dark, deadly and it has some lava too ! :) It's probably best when you play with 2-3 players total, maybe 4, because it's pretty compact. You can run from one end, to another in like 10 seconds. If you play with more than 3 players you'll end up with a weapon depletion all around the level. What obviously sucks. So if you wanna duel it out with someone then this is the level to use. Future Plans : Other maps, finalize my Pancy QuakeC patch and then some more QuakeC Other addon's by me : The DeathDome - An arena-like DeathMatch level. Intense! Pancy - a new powered chaingun All available at my homepage or at ftp.cdrom.com Additional Credits to : id & Ben Morris (author of WorldCraft) ================================================================= * Play Information * Game : Quake Start Map : The Dark Dungeon Single Player : Yes, but only for checking the level out Cooperative : Get real... Deathmatch : That's what it's all about. It has 7 DM starts no exit, so no wussy retreats. Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : No Demos Replaced : No * Construction * Build Date : 13 March '97 (released) Build Time : about 20 hours ? 30 ? something like that Editor(s) used : WorldCraft 1.0a QBSP,LIGHT -extra ,VIS -level 4 Testing : I have played the level a few times against 2 skill 3 Reaperbots. At first it's pretty tough, but when you've figured out your route(ine) you oughta be able to keep 'em under control. Known Bugs : In one special spot on the level you can get gray visplanes if you look 'right' :(. But it isn't that bad or distracting. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may NOT (!) use this level as a base to build additional levels.
