It started as a tool just to learn how to use Worldcraft, then became a little more once I put some time into it. Some areas reflect its origins -- there definitely are better ways to do some of the things I did. I hope my next map will reflect 'lessons learned'. I certainly look at the good maps out there with a much greater appreciation . . . Kawait1 can be played as a single player level, but is a lot more fun in deathmatch. I tested it mainly with a few Reaperbots . . . Worldcraft is a pretty spiffy level editor. I'm going to check out some of the others (just to see) but I found Worldcraft to be very easy to use. I came up against the 'max_planes' limit pretty fast (there went my beautiful chandelier . . .), but I imagine that won't be a problem when I move up to the registered version. Making a level is damned fun. Good luck to all . . . * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY use this level as a base to build additional levels. Copyright by Geoff Barry 1997. All rights reserved.
