Release Date: 08 February, 1998 ================================================== Title : Webby's World Filename : webbydm1.bsp (i'm gunna make a dm series? laff!) Author : Craig Webb (aka Webby of clan Mohicans) Email Address : webbyqkn@ozemail.com.au URL : http://www.ozemail.com.au/~webbyqkn/ Description : Duel map with lots of weapons and armour for reduced domination/raping. I intentionally left out powerups because they suck big time in 1-on-1. Most of the level is stacked with RL's and armour. If you are injurred you've either got to fight for the MegaHealth or retreat to the health room for supplies. Credits : thanx to id Software for creating THE game Beta Testers : John Carmack, Bill Gates and all the other Omicrons Hook (yes, i did beta test it on an intelligent being!) =================================================== * Play Information * Game : Quake Registered 1.01 or higher Map Name : Webby's World Single Player : NO (You can have a look) Co-op : NO Deathmatch : 6 Deathmatch Starts (suits 2 to 6 players) ================================================== * Construction * Base : New level from scratch. Editor used : Worldcraft v1.5 Construction time : 2 weeks (basic architecture in 1 day, rest on/off) Texture Wads : id textures (dm4 textures rock) Known "bugs" : If you are doing a lot of strafing/dodging at the top or side edges of the ramp, you may get momentarily stuck. I reduced this with some clipping planes but it still happens occasionally. ================================================== * Strategies & Tactics * Get Weapon, get Armour, get MegaHealth (not necessarily in that order) then try and dominate. It won't be easy :-) ================================================== * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
