3/16/96 ================================================================ Title : Escape Filename : escape.bsp Author : Shunsuke Yamamoto Email Address : yamamotos@proaxis.com Misc. Author Info : High School student =) Description : It's supposed to be a demonstration for non shoot thru, walkable 'glass.' Well then I kinda added some textures and some monsters and some weapons...... Try it, it's kinda fun. Additional Credits to : Ben Morris for WorldCraft,Steve Fukuda at the QuakeLab, Autolycus of Official Worldcraft Editing Site, Usteppin of WCU, my dog Sammy, and id Software for QUAKE! ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : Yes Cooperative : No Deathmatch : No Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : New level from scratch 90 brushes, 48 entities Build time : About 5 days (occaisionally worked on) qbsp : 8min 58secs light -extra : 14secs vis -fast : 6secs (Note: Even with level 4 vis there would not be any difference since you see pretty much everything in the map at all times; its only one room =) Editor used : WorldCraft v1.2 Known Bugs : The map used to have WalkMonsters error; but now it's gone. Weird. Installation and play :put this bsp file in your id1/maps directory under your Quake directory. then either type "Map escape" at the console OR when starting quake type "quake +map escape" ALSO: How to make the walkable glass =) Well you may hav seen the RealGlass at QuakeLab; just follow their instructions THEN to be able to walk on the glass instead of slide, use the CLIP texture and lay it over the glass. I think it would have been better with a tech base (wind ambient will make it "seem" like you're really floating on those space simulators!? =). * Copyright / Permissions * You MAY distribute this BSP, provided you include this file, with no modifications.
