Bring down the console and type "map aftermath1" (no quotes) * Story * In the aftermath of the Strogg defeat and like all great wars there are many military tasks to be undertaken. One of these tasks is the detection and destruction of the many underground resistance forces which are still operational. You are a member of a special forces search and destroy team tasked with a specific area to make safe. Unfortunately you have been ambushed and as a result of overwhelming odds had to retreat hastily whereupon you and the remaining members of your team had to scramble down some rock faces to escape the onslaught and take advantage of the only cover available. Having fallen the last few feet into a gully you were knocked unconscious and fell into a corner where the natural terrain has protected you from the grenades and other ordinance which rained down wreaking havoc on the team in the enclosed gully. A short time later you awake to an eerie silence, the smell of cordite and burnt flesh heavy in the air, with the realisation of what has happened and the severity of your situation. You hear the sound of distant battle and check your communications status...nothing...you hope someone at HQ is monitoring your situation and will send a rescue team...or at least an update on your orders...but for now you have to find a way out of there...and stay alive!!!
