Description : New single player level for Quake2, based on same Duke3D-ish City theme as my previous map Action City for Quake2 Multiplayer Mod Action Quake (action.telefragged.com). Well, this is more than just a new level only, included are about 90 new textures, couple new enemies, new weapon, many new breakable ambient models to make more interactive and realistic environment, and of course, modified game DLL. Misc. Stuff : I've replaced old Blaster with new weapon, HK Mark-23 .45ACP Pistol, because it is much more practical. It has more firepower, but is bit inaccurate especially in long distances and needs reloading once each 12 rounds of a clip are used. You dont have infinite ammo, so if you dont have ammo for ANY of weapons you have, you'll become disarmed until you find some. I've also increased firepower and health of your enemies so you'll need to use even some strategy. I'm probably going to make sequel for this addon to SiN once it comes out, so this map is bit like an introduction for it. Check out my web site for always newest information about my plans. This map might run slowly if you don't have P233 or better hardware with 3D Accelerator Card. Always gib dead bodies whenever possible, it will decrease entity polycount obviosly. Installing/Running : 1) Make subdirectory called CSP under your Quake2 dir and unzip all contents of this archive to there. 2) Use QUAKE2 +SET GAME CSP +MAP CSP commandline to start the game. You may also use +SKILL variable to specify skill level (0-2). * The Story * The year is 2010. You take the role as one of the elite Cops in counter-Terrorist Police Force called Sec-Cops. They do perform mainly Terrorist Eliminating and Hostage Recovery operations. Crossor Enterprises, one of the biggest Medical Research corporations in US, appears to cause serious problems, because most of their policies doesnt seem to be legal. And we've heard about conspiracy between them and the Aliens from outer space. Unfortunately, our informants that fetched us that information have mystically disappeared and we haven't get very well aware of their full plans. In one day, those horrible bio-mechanical Aliens, Stroggs, attacked. They killed or captured ruthlessly everything they ever found. Their crafts shelled our great cities. Their terror pushed our civilization into chaotic state. So many of us died. We don't have any clues how conspirators done this. But one thing is sure - we need to end this! And soon all remaining armed Militaristic Forces, including Sec-Cops, teamed up and started ultimate counterstrike against Stroggs. Strogg's heavy domination fallen. A lots of their troops died. However, they and conspirators do still have control over the most fortified regions, including priorly overpopulated great city of Mancis. Crossor, the leader of Crossor Enterprises, and most of other conspirators have been located in there. It's your job to pay back those bastards all the pain and death they caused. Once you'll find them, they'll be in shit!
