ACK!!!! I have NO idea why but I couldn't get the lights to work at all so the whole thing is like some throw back to the DOOM era. If you want to add lighting then PLEASE DO!!! Just give me some credit for whipping it up in the first place. Oh and try to use alot of colored light, LONG LIVE 3DFX!!!!!!! * How to use this level * Make a "maps" directory in ../quake2/baseq2 and copy this level into it. Then type in "map danger" and pick a path. The difficultly is set by which weapon/teleporter you run towards. Pick the wimpy shotgun and get a wimpy setting. Go for the chaingun path only if you wish to die a swift death Mere Mortal! There are also overhead, shootable switches that can drop bigger monsters on your head. This map has buttons glore for traps, lasers, lava, and even some pimping music. Just don't active too many unless you AND your computer are man enough to handle the load. You can crash even the best systems if you turn on everything at once! Almost everything can be activated and de-activated via the buttons in the control room. The music takes a second to shut down. To start a deathmatch game either start it as usual and type "map danger" in the server's console or start a multiplayer server from Quake 2 and type "map danger" in the console. * Copyright / Permissions * This level is (c) by Walter Sharrow 1998.
