=============================================================================== Title : Doom 2 Map 1 Filename : D2Map1.bsp Version : 1.00 1/2/98 Author : Rob Morgan Email Address : Bobster@morgan.net.au time : qbsp3 = 101 seconds qvis = 15043 seconds qrad3 = 7992 seconds Other levels by author : None for quake 2, never released any untill now. Description : The good old deathmatch level of doom2 map 1. The main style hasn't changed, I'd seen many map1's that looked too complicated. The greatest thing about doom2's map1 was it was simple. Yet had everything you need in a good deathmatch. The major difference is the two outside's, each having good weapons, health, and armor if you look for it. The elevator where the plasma gun used to be, is trigger by standing in front of it, having a button for this was pointless, all the secrets from doom2 have been imported, also one secret connecting both outsides. Other than thoughs two minor changes everything should be about the same. Feel free to email me for any comments. Bots : I've played this with both crbot and eraser. With crbot it worked fine, they didn't get stuck in many places, although with eraser they got stuck in afew places where the player didn't have much room to jump, but they both played about the same, I'd recomend crbot for this map though.
