HAQSAU'S OFFICENTER This level is based on a construction site. It is small, and has very little ammo or health, so it plays very quickly. The map also makes extensive use of the Quake II "ladder" attribute, making it possible to climb around the level without any obvious ladders or ramps. Virtually every structure in this map has the ladder attribute applied, however, look up before you climb, because not all paths go all the way to the top! Title : Haqsau's Officenter (Under Construction!) Filename : Q2ConSite04.bsp Start Date : 03-19-98 Finish Date : 04-19-98 Map Author : Hal "Haqsau" Raymond Email Address : haqsau@hotmail.com Description : A construction site, with some unique features. Requirements : Quake II, and a strong stomach. = Play Information = Single Player : With bots only Cooperative : No Deathmatch : Yes CTF : No = Construction = Base : From scratch Editors used : WorldCraft 1.6 Known Bugs : Map has been fast VIS'ed only, full VIS will have to wait until I get a faster PC. :( If you unintentionally run into a structure that has the ladder attribute on it, you may feel like you are stuck to it. If this happens, just turn more than 90 degrees away from the structure and you will "fall" off of it. = Version Info = site01.bsp : (Not published) A first attempt, for Quake. Wouldn't VIS. site02.bsp : (Not published) Same map, in Quake II. VISed fine, but had too many polygons to use with a 2D card. Q2ConSite03.bsp : Solved polygon problem by using rectangular beams instead : of I-beams. Doesn't look as nice, but will work on any PC. Q2ConSite04.bsp : Changed some weapon locations based on play testing. = COPYRIGHT NOTICES and PERMISSION = This map for Quake II is copyright 1998 by Hal Raymond.
