=============================================================================== Title : The Ruins of Ascennzia Filename : ruins.BSP Version : 06/22/98 Author : Ryan Armstrong Email Address : lryan@geocities.com Other levels by author : Water Treatment Plant 2 for Quake 2, Several low-profile Quake 1 levels, and 1 Descent 2 level. If you're interested, come check out my web page at: http://www.golden.net/~tnrarm Description : Ruins of an ancient civilization, with fallen (and standing) columns, rubble, and caverns. Perfect for 2-4 players. Installation : Just unzip it into your Quake 2 directory, and make sure you extract directories. If you want to be stubborn and do it yourself, the bsp file goes in the maps directory (under your quake2/baseq2 directory) and the wal files go into textures/zerker. In the game, just start up a deathmatch, and use "map ruins" to go to the level. Alternativly, you can edit your maps.lst file in baseq2 and add the following line somewhere in the file: ruins "The Ruins of Ascenzia" This will allow you to select it from the list, just like all the normal levels.
