5 July 1998 ================================================================ Title The Planet Tranquille Filename Tran.zip Author Email Address mgpoole@montana.com Description If you question how the hell I thought up any of this, read below where I describe the base used. Other than that, this is my first real attempt at a Quake II map, so cut me some slack. It is a small map intended for about 1 to 6 players. Most likely 4. I included the map file because if anyone actually plays this particular map in a sea of them, no doubt they'll have suggestions to make it better. With that in mind, I included it so they can make their own changes. ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : No, but if you really wanted to, it has a start position. Cooperative : Try it and see, I dare you. Deathmatch : Yes Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : Yes, but they are not in any visible parts of the map. In other words, no. New Music : Nyes. Demos Replaced : Nice the Norwegian Blue, beautiful plumage. * Construction * Base : I think my inspiration came from the nice furry little aliens that visit me during the night bearing gifts, such as Tomato juice and Barry Manilow's latest album. Editor(s) used : WorldCraft 1.6 Known Bugs : Slows down a little bit at points, maybe I'll fix this someday. Build Time : I went without sleep, food, water, or even bathroom breaks for a whole 5 minutes. After that it took me about four days off and on to complete this. I told you, it is a small level. Texture Wad used : Ikbase Compile machine : P133, 40MB RAM QBSP Time : I don't know, I forgot. Couldn't have been too long, though VIS Time : Same here. RAD Time : Dunno, wasn't really paying much attention at this point. Entire Compilation Time : Longer than my attention span, but I'd say 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Brushes : 654 Entities : 116 Deathtraps : 1 Secrets : 4 Small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri : 3 * Copyright / Permissions * YOU MAY freely distribute this BSP in any form you wish.
