The prototype is undergoing final testing before production begins. Navigate through their Heavy Weapons Facility and locate and destroy the guidance system. Your sargeant has already obtained the blueprints on a previous mission. Your success will delay the Stroggs till our battle cruisers can arrive and destroy the facility. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to install & Play : IMPORTANT: These maps contain new textures so need to be in the correct directory. For the experienced: Extract or pkunzip-d to c:\quake2. Start quake with +map missile1 or the at the console. For Newbies: If properly extracted will automatically install the maps and textures in their correct folders. Using Winzip. Select Winzip Classic and select Extract from the Menu bar. Select your Quake2 folder. Ensure 'Use folder names' is ticked And press 'Extract'. Viola! You should now have a 'maps' folder & a 'textures' folder in your quake2\baseq2 folder. The 'maps' folder should have the above bsps and in the 'textures' folder will have the folder named 'missile' with some custom textures. To start the game using 'run' from the start menu type: c:\quake2\quake2.exe +map missile1 OR start quake and press the ~ key to bring down the console & type: map missile1 Construction : BSP 0.93. new level built from scratch.
