Some of the features are: - Converts PACK files as well as BSP files. - Extracts wall and sky textures from the PACK file and converts it into GIF and JPEG file formats. - Extracts submodels (doors, buttons, etc.). - Extracts sound files and stores volume information into VRML file. - Reduces face count by merging suitable faces. - Improves rendering speed by splitting the map into a number of clusters and optimizing visibility. - Imports map behavior and animation (25 Quake entity types), help messages, special effects (splashes and laser beams), interlevel jumps. - Compresses output VRML file. - Uses Windows interface for setting options. Installation ============ Unpack the qpub archive into a directory and run qpub.exe. This program requires msvcrt.dll. This file should be placed in your windows/system directory.
