Well that's possible now ... Load it up, shoot some friends or monsters, and press "impulse 20" -- VOILA -- Your Hitrate ... I've done my very best too : In deathmatch my rate dropped to 86.7 Full Episode 1 : 129.4 (yeah) Full Episode 2 : 114.7 Full Episode 3 : 121.9 Full Episode 4 : 117.3 Why does my score come above the 100 percent ? - Well, if you hit 2 or more creatures, your shot = Y+1 and hit = X+2(or more) and hitrate is X / Y * 100% = HITRATE --> 4/2 = 200 percent.. **** (by the way) I DID NOT CHEAT **** TIP : + Try to shoot as many people with your dual shotgun, don't use nails.. or your score will drop ( I did this in deathmatch too often ). + Shooting a (S) Nailgun or a lightninggun decreases your hitpercentage 'cause usually you miss too often ( although there's a hitbonus ). + Only a direct hit with RL / GL is counted as a hit. + Don't cheat ! I dislike cheating and my code too ... =D How to Install the Modification ------------------------------- Very simple: 1. Create a directory named HITRATE under your QUAKE directory by typing: MD HITRATE when in your QUAKE directory. 2. Unzip the files in the archive into that directory with your favorite unzipping software. Make sure you unzip with subdirectories. If you use PKUNZIP just type: PKUNZIP HITRATE1.ZIP HITRATE -d again, in your QUAKE directory. 3. Run Quake like this: QUAKE.EXE -game HITRATE 4. In Quake, bind keys to impulse 20, 21 and 22. For DM bind impulse 30, 31 and 32. Technical Details ----------------- impulse 20 - Print (to screen) your hitrate. impulse 21 - Reset your hitrate . impulse 22 - Print how many times you have shot and hit a monster. impulse 30 - Begin searching for players. impulse 31 - Prints the hitrate of that person. impulse 32 - Next player. * Shooting at a zombie without Quad with LghtngG ,(S) shotgun and axe will NOT give you a hit - did this to prevent shooting on multiple zombies to increase the hitpercentage. Bugs?? - Nope, if you do find one write me..
