'Q' Description of the Modification ------------------------------- Please goto: http://members.gotnet.net/chaz/cybinfo.html (To reduce .exe file size, long description!! Trust us) How to Install the Modification ------------------------------- Simply extract into your Quake directory under a subdirectory specifically named cybernet. Run the batch file named 'cybernet.bat' in the cybernet subdirectory. Technical Details ----------------- This Quake TC is not compatible with GLQuake. The levels have to many open spaces such as the outdoor maps 'Cybernet' & 'Surface1&2'. You can try but it will run very slow. If you need any other help simply email us at team_omnicide@hotmail.com For you programmers, goto www.inside3d.com and find their tutorials. They cover everything you'd want to know. Most of Cybernet's features can be explained here. We recomend this site. Testing ------- If you would like to be a tester then send an email to team_omnicide@hotmail.com and start testing!! You will be included in the list of testers in the readme. Just think, you'll get credit for playing a game!! If you find any bugs make sure they are not listed in the known bugs section of the readme. If it isn't then send them in with a description and, if possible, an explanation on how to reproduce the effect. We'll try to fix it and release a newer version immedietly. If we can't fix it fast enough then it will be listed in the known bugs section. If it seems as though it were an un-completed item then it probably is but it is being worked on, like certain levels or model skins. When a newer one comes out you'll be informed and you can goto the Cybernet webpage and download it. You(we) can't have enough testers!! We need people to search Cybernet for bugs. Known Bugs ---------- So far anything that is a bug is just because Cybernet isn't finished. Like model skins or levels. If it's serious then we will try our best to fix it. Your name will then be listed under the bug you had found. Thanks..
