Description of the Modification
-------------------------------

This patch allows players to drop mines at the cost of 3 rockets.
The mines are slightly more powerful and have a slightly larger
blast radius than a grenade.  I also included someone else's
grappling hook patch.  To plant a mine, hit impulse 21.  BUG: I
haven't figured out how to make the mine appear and fall infront
of you.  The best I've managed is a relative x,y,z position which
means that the mines will always fall in line with the levels x,y,z
coord's.  Its probably very simple to fix but this /is/ my first
patch.  Later releases should have this fixed, and will also include
a manual mine detonate option.  If you know the solution to the bug...

How to Install the Modification
-------------------------------
Make a directory called mine in your quake directory.
Unzip "mine.zip" into the mine directory.  Then run
install.bat, which will move the .mdl, .qc, and .src
files into a new sub directory called progs.

to run, type:

quake -game mine



Technical Details
-----------------

I've included the qc file in the progs directory, it's probably dirty,
but you can add your modification if you wish too.
