Title : Positron Beam Filename : ptron10.zip Version : 1.0 <-- 1st version Date : 6-17-96 Author : Nick "SiNGE" Bousman, Glenn "Griphis" Saaiman Email : singe@ix.netcom.com, griphis@ix.netcom.com Type of Mod ------------ Quake C : yes Sound : yes MDL : yes Level : no Format of Mod -------------- PAK file Forenote: ---------- For this patch, Griphis brought his computer over to my place, and slept here for days on end until we finished this thing. And all just for you, the players. Don't you feel special? Description: ------------- This weapon shoots out a stream of antimatter in the form of positrons encased in a heavily magnetized plasma sheath. The result is a beam weapon with a large release of energy at the point the beam intersects normal matter. Be careful with this weapon. It's quite easy to do yourself in. Adds life to those dull parties with your friends. Helpful Instructions: ---------------------- - You get the Positron Beam when you pick up your second Lightning Gun. - Uses 10 cells per shot. - Big explosion where the beam touches a wall.. or people.
